Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our ( 'aggbot' ) information-handling practices.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information relating to aggbot's services ( the 'Services' ) that are provided through www.aggbot.com ( the 'Website' ). The user's statutory rights are not affected.

Information Collection and Use

We do not currently require any Personal Details in order for users to use the aggbot website Service(s). In future we will offer a registration process so that users may personalise their experience but the policy document will be updated at that time.

aggbot does not collect any personal details or record the emails sent through the email a friend function.

If a user does not wish to receive email links to the news articles on this site they should contact their friend / originator of the email to inform them. aggbot employs a visual word identification process to prevent automated use of the email a friend option.

If the user has any comments or questions regarding this privacy policy please contact us.

External Links

Our Web Site may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by aggbot. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such external websites and would therefore advise users to consider the third party website privacy policy before providing personal details. aggbot does not collect and/or share personally identifiable details with such external websites.

Automated Site Tracking

When a user visits our website, statistics about the visit are automatically collected. This information does not contain the user's personal details, but rather identifies information about a visit to the website. This information may include how many people visit the website, the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address, which pages are visited, which domains our visitors come from and which types of browsers these persons use. We use these statistics about the user's visits for aggregate, analytical purposes only, to help us improve the performance and effectiveness of our website.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We may use cookies on our websites. There are two types of cookies, session cookies and permanent cookies. A session cookie expires when the user closes the browser. A permanent cookie remains on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. The user can decline to accept cookies or may remove permanent cookies by following directions provided by the Internet browser's help documentation.

Personal Details Security

In the future you will be able to register so that you may use personalisation features on aggbot. We will secure the registration process and future login process using an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate. A SSL Certificate consists of a public key and a private key; the public key is used to encrypt information and the private key is used to decrypt it. In other words the user can begin a secure session that guarantees privacy integrity of communication between the user's PC/laptop and secured domain. The user will be able to check our SSL certificate by double clicking on the 'Lock' icon which is shown on the bottom right hand side of the browser; alternatively you will see the https protocol in the address bar for secure pages.

Privacy Policy Changes

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on our website.

Third-Party Advertisers

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
