www.aggbot.com is a fast growing community where people come to get their news.

The aggbot website provides an easy to use interface to navigate various categories and types of news feed. Behind the scenes our contextualisation technology, the catbot, collects the latest news stories from hundreds of syndicated news feeds from around the globe and collates the articles into manageable categories; news is aggregated by region, news topic and most importantly by the news subject so you can see articles from different news providers about the same story.

Our users find that being able to choose which news provider(s) to read for a particular article gives them a broader view of any news story as it unfolds. We currently provide a chronological or time view of the news with the lead story being the latest one published; articles from other news providers about the same story are then shown grouped underneath the lead article.

In the future we will provide personalisation features and news filters so that you can see the most popular news or what most people have been emailing to their friends and family.

Most of our football feeds are already available on Twitter where you can get access via the web and also your mobile. You can currently tweet a news article on your twitter account, send a link to the article by email or post it onto your facebook wall. For your friends convenience the link will bring them back to aggbot so they can also see the other grouped articles in case they want to read more about the story.

aggbot is the first product to be launched from Techregation Limited a new company formed by a group of IT professionals who are passionate about the web and news. We were frustrated with the quality of other news feed aggregators so we thought we would do something about it and build our own.
